¹ Why, O LORD, do you stand far off? why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

(The Book of Psalms Number 10 verse 1)

Oh God, my Father many of us may be asking this question during this time of stress and anxiety due to this new coronavirus. However many are not considering that we make ourselves known to God only or specifically during such times which is not fair on You my God and Father Amen. The real question is to be done from You to us my God and Father. 

² In arrogance the wicked persecute the poor let them be caught in the schemes they have devised.


(The Book of Psalms Number 10 verse 2)


Oh God my Father You are justice incarnated. You are the only person who is worthy of exposing our positive and negative traits, for You are not conditioned by bias or sympathy Amen.


³ For the wicked boast of the desires of their heart, those greedy for gain curse and renounce the LORD.


(The Book of Psalms Number 10 verse 3)


Oh God my Father, I pray for those who have freely chosen to live a life that does not have Your presence, a life that is completely worldly and atheistic. I pray that one day they will make a mountain top experience of You that will change their lives forever Amen.


⁴ In the pride of their countenance the wicked say, "God will not seek it out." all their thoughts are, "There is no God."

Oh God my Father people who declare that there is no God have problems in their life. On realizing the emptiness of their lives they fall into despair because they have no safe base to which to turn to, therefore it becomes a vicious circle, of depression, drugs, crime leading to their own destruction and the forces of evil have claimed another soul.


⁵Their ways prosper at all times; your judgments are on high, out of their sight; as for their foes, they scoff at them.


(The Book of Psalms Number 10 verse 5)


Oh God my Father there are people who appear to be very successful, those people whom we say have really made it in life! According to the criteria of the world, they have achieved all their aims and wishes however according to the ways of the kingdom they are scoring very low. They may feel empty godless and depressed for now that they have reached the fulfilment of their lives, they may have nothing else to live more. Moreover, such people who appear so successful in our eyes may be subject to depression and suicide. I pray that You help us find a healthy balance in our needs and wants to strike a balance from what is of the material world to that of the spiritual Amen.



⁶ They think in their heart, "We shall not be moved; throughout all generations we shall not meet adversity."


(The Book of Psalms Number 10 verse 6)


Woe to such people who think that nobody or no one can stand against them, or equal them in riches or graces or power. For You humble those who think that they are upright and make the humble stand up with their heads held high Amen.


⁷ Their mouths are filled with cursing and deceit and oppression; under their tongues are mischief and iniquity.

Oh God my Father may our entire beings proclaim Your faithful love and mercy Amen.

⁸ They sit in ambush in the villages; in hiding places they murder the innocent. Their eyes stealthily watch for the helpless; ⁹ they lurk in secret like a lion in its covert; they lurk that they may seize the poor; they seize the poor and drag them off in their net.

Oh God my Father I pray for Your protection against evil spirits who stop at nothing to try and take our souls Amen.

¹⁰ They stoop, they crouch, and the helpless fall by their might.

(The Book of Psalms Number 10 verse 10)

Oh God my Father the evil spirits of darkness take on many forms and sizes and use different skills in order to make us sin, then they accuse us of sinning against You. I pray for Your protection and that of our guardian angels Amen.

¹¹ They think in their heart, "God has forgotten, he has hidden his face, he will never see it."

(The Book of Psalms Number 10 verse 11)

Oh brothers and sisters, the moment that we think that God has abandoned us and that He has removed his hand from us, we end up in solitude and depression leading to sin. God will never abandon us. He knows us each by name and has our name inscribed on the palm of his hands Amen. We can never be forgotten by God Amen.

¹² Rise up, O LORD, O God, lift up your hand; do not foeget the oppressed.

Oh God my Father You are always aware of our needs especially those of us who are oppresed by tribulations. You are in control of every situation. I pray for the souls of the people who died in the floods of Siciliy yesterday that if they were not prepared to meet You, mercy will shown from Your end Amen.

¹ I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 1)

Oh God my Father many times we complain instead of giving thanks, which is not fair, especially when considering the wonderful deeds and miracles that You accomplish on our behalf Amen. Thank You Jesus. I appreciate Your amazing acts Amen.



² I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.


(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 2) 



Your name oh God is always worthy to be praised, if my mouth stops worshiping You my soul will never stop doing so. In You alone I experience my fulfillment Amen. 



³When my enemies turned back, they stumbled and perished before you.


(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 3) 



Oh God my Father my enemies are Your enemies, and Your enemies are my enemies. We have a strong bond between us that can be chafed only by my sin. I pray that You continue protecting me from my enemies Amen.


⁴ For you have maintained my just cause; you have sat on the throne giving righteous judgment.


(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 4) 


Oh God, my Father You are in control of all the situations of my life, when I am at home when I am at work and even when I am travelling. I know that You are with me and for this, I thank You, my God and Father Amen.


⁵ You have rebuked the nations, you have destroyed the wicked; you have blotted out their name forever and ever.

Oh God, my Father, I thank You for making me victorious over all my enemies. The victory is all yours and not mine, praised and hallowed be they mighty and glorious name forever and ever Amen.  


⁶ The enemies have vanished in everlasting ruins; their cities you have rooted out; the very memory of them has perished.


(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 6) 


Oh God my Father, brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, when we face our vices and bad habits we are to pray for their complete destruction and not for simply overcoming them for one day. Amen. Our memory of them is to be one of having them removed from our system completely Amen. 


⁷ But the LORD sits enthroned forever, he has established his throne for judgment.


(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 7) 


Oh God, my Father, Your justice is purely just and nobody can ever escape it whether on earth or in heaven. I pray that while on earth we receive not what we justly ought to receive for we are all sinners but what You consider as being fit for us to endure Amen. 


⁸ He judges the world with righteousness; he judges the people with equity.


(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 8) 


Praise be to You my God and Father, for You do not make partiality or bias towards any of us as and as sinners we are all the same in Your sight. I thank You for loving me my God and Father Amen.


⁹ The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.


(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 9) 


I totally agree with the Psalmist that You, my God and Father that are my stronghold. It is only in You that I find safety love and consolation for my troubled soul Amen. I thank You for always making Yourself available to me my loving Father Amen.


¹⁰ And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.


(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 10)


Oh God, my Father, in You I place my full trust, blindly I trust in You like never before. You have never let me down. Amen.


¹¹ Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion. Declare his deeds among the peoples.


(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 11)


Oh God, my Father, I am doing just that by means of this prayer time. May all who dwell on such reflections make the experience of You Amen.


¹² For he who avenges blood is mindful of them; he does not forget the cry of the afflicted.


(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 12)


Oh God, my Father in You I place my trust. You have carved my name on the palm of Your hand, You will never forget me Amen. I am one of the apples of Your eye Amen.


¹³ Be gracious to me, O LORD, See what I suffer from those who hate me; you are the one who lifts me up from the gates of death, ¹⁴ so that I may recount all your praises, and, in the gates of daughter Zion, rejoice in your deliverance.

Oh God, my Father, we are all waiting for Your deliverance for only You can save us. You are our avenger before those who aim to hurt us by means of many means. You are our advocate. We place our trust and hope in You Amen.  


¹⁵ The nations have sunk in the pit that they have made; in the net that they hid has their own foot been caught.


(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 15)


Oh God, my Father people who were involved in corrupt practices are being exposed and are either resigning or are being terminated from their work. I pray that Your justice will be done Amen.


¹⁶ The LORD has made himself known, he has executed judgment; the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands.


(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 16)


Oh God, my Father, You catch the evil in their plans in a way that no harm may be done to innocent and vulnerable people. You save us from the traps of the evil one Amen.


¹⁷ The wicked shall depart to Sheol, all the nations that forget God.


(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 17)


If it was for You my God and Father nobody is lost and everybody is saved. For You undertook such a cruel passion for our salvation that it would be a pity if some were lost Amen.


¹⁸ For the needy shall not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the poor perish forever.


(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 18)


Oh brothers and sisters even though these times are hard especially on those who are poor, sick and vulnerable in many ways, this time will pass and better times will come, even if this means in the other life after death which is of more value than the present life Amen. Therefore let us stand upright and tall with our eyes on heaven and our feet on the ground Amen.


¹⁹ Rise up, O LORD! Do not let mortals prevail; let the nations be judged before you. ²⁰ Put them in fear, O LORD; let the nations know that they are only human.




(The Book of Psalms Number 9 verse 19 to 20)


Oh God, my Father, I beg that You take control over this current situation, and if this coronavirus is a human creation in order to leave a negative impact on the world market let the creators of such a malady be brought to justice Amen.


Oh God, my Father, I would like to end this meditation on the ninth psalm of the Book of Psalms with the following prayer:-


Oh God my Father blessed be Your Holy Name, may all creation acknowledge You as the reason for life and even afterlife. May we find our comfort in You my God and Father. Destroy the enemy and protect us from all evil Amen. Thank You, Jesus.

¹  O LORD, our Sovereign; how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.

(Book of Psalms No. 8 verse 1)

Oh God, my Father, indeed there is no name like Yours. All existence is subject to You and hallowed and worshipped is to be Your Name Amen. 



² Out of the mouths of babes and infants you have founded a bulwark because of your foes, to silence the enemy and the avenger.

(Book of Psalms No. 8 verse 2)

Oh God, my Father You make use of our weakness as a means of defending us against the evil one, who does not stand a chance against You. Moreover, if You had to use our strengths the victory would be even greater Amen. However, You are my strength and my salvation Amen.

³ When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have established; ⁴ what are human beings that you are mindful of them mortals that you care for them?

(Book of Psalms No. 8 verses 3 to 4)

Oh God my Father why do you love me so much as a human, why do You love humanity. Although we are all sinners You chose to become human to be able to understand our limitations and appreciate the strengths that You have given us. I thank You for everything in the name of humanity Amen.

⁵ Yet you have made them a little lower than God, and crowned them with glory and honor. ⁶ You have given them dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under their feet, ⁷ all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, ⁸ the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas. ⁹ O LORD, our Sovereign how majestic is your name in all the earth!

(Book of Psalms No. 8 verses 5 to 9)

Oh God my Father I thank You for sharing Your attributes and qualities with us, You have made us like You in many different and even similar ways. I pray that we appreciate such qualities as gifts from You Amen.



I would like to end this meditation on the eight Psalm with the following prayer:


Brothers and sisters of all nations and relatives in Jesus Christ my God and Father, have heart and be filled with joy even though you may be experiencing tribulations, for the Lord our God is with us, He is our refuge and our salvation. In all circumstances keep in mind that;

                  
                           "You are not alone for the Lord our God is with you"

                                                               Amen.

¹ O LORD my God, in you I take refuge; save me from all my pursuers, and deliver me, ² or like a lion they will tear me apart; they will drag me away, with no one to rescue.

(The Book of Psalms Number 7 verses 1 to 2)

Oh God my beloved Father, I also pray for protection, for I also have enemies who are dying to dig their fangs into me and do me as much damage as possible. I pray that You deliver me from such potent foes and do not permit them to harm me more than they are presently doing Amen.







³ O LORD my God, if I have done this, if there is wrong in my hands, ⁴ if I have repaid my ally with harm or plundered my foe without cause, ⁵ then let the enemy pursue and overtake me, trample my life to the ground, and lay my soul in the dust.




(The Book of Psalms Number 7 verses 3 to 5)




O God my blessed Father, You are the one who is going to do me justice in front of humans, I also pray that if I have cheated anybody throughout the course of this life that You judge me accordingly or as You deem to be fit for me. Amen.




⁶ Rise up, O LORD, in your anger; lift yourself up against the fury of my enemies; awake, O my God; you have appointed a judgment.

Oh God my beloved Father, I have not the cheek to tell You to rise up, for You are always wide awake and active in my life. I pray that You are always on my right and left side ready to protect me from those who seek to judge me not to seek justice and righteousness but to satisfy their evil inclinations Amen. 




⁷ Let the assembly of the peoples be gathered around you, and over it take your seat on high.



(The Book of Psalms Number 7 verse 7)




Oh God my Father, if there is a person who can pass judgement it is You and not the people of the earth. I pray that as always You will manifest Your mercy and even Your justice my God and Father, especially on the current issues Amen.




⁸ The LORD judges the peoples; judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness and according to the integrity that is in me.




(The Book of Psalms Number 7 verse 8)




Oh God my beloved Father, today I had to make a decision on behalf of a client, that I was aware that he is a vulnerable client. On assessing the situation I was aware that I made the right decision. However, there were those who criticised me for the decision that I made even though they were not in my situation at the time. I pray that I be judged on my good intentions and integrity and not on a lack of value judgement or poor assessment Amen.




⁹ O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous, you who test the minds and hearts O righteous God.




(The Book of Psalms Number 7 verse 9)




Oh God my Father, only You are aware of the evil that is planned against me in my life, especially during this time of separation from my wife. I pray that You sincerely test our hearts and mind and if You find an inch of goodness in me please avenge me in the face of my enemies. I leave my judgement in Your hands my God and Father Amen. 




¹⁰ God is my shield, who saves the upright in heart. God is a righteous judge, and a God who has indignation every day.




(The Book of Psalms Number 7 verse 10)




Oh God my Father this is indeed a great consolation to have You as my shield especially during this time of great tribulation. I present my case before You my God and Father, and may Your justice prevail over the ways of the world. I am aware of my weaknesses and limitations, however, as You know I always do my best. I pray for Your mercy and advocacy when I am in the presence of my enemies Amen. 




¹¹ God is a righteous Judge, and a God who has indignation every day.




(The Book of Psalms Number 7 verse 11) 




Oh God, my Father, You are loving righteous, caring and just. You are justice itself. Unlike the world there are no blemishes or doubts in You my God and Father, it is in You that I place my trust Amen. 



¹² If one does not repent, God will whet his sword; he has bent and strung his bow, ¹³ he has prepared his deadly weapons, making his arrows fiery shafts.



(The Book of Psalms Number 7 verses 12 to 13)





Oh God my blessed Father I am pleased to be one of your arrows planted in Your bow and ready to be fired in any direction of Your desire. I pray that this blog is distributed among many nations and that Your name is praised by all the people of the world Amen. Thank You Jesus.




¹⁴ See how they conceive evil and are pregnant with mischief, and bring forth lies.



(The Book of Psalms Number 7 verse 14)  




The arrows of the evil one breed mischief and more negativity and therefore have an end, however the arrows of God my Father breed positivity and grace Amen.



 ¹⁵ They make a pit, digging it out, and fall into the hole that they have made. ¹⁶ Their mischief returns upon their own heads, and on their own heads their violence descends.




(The Book of Psalms Number 7 verses 15 to 16)




Oh God my beloved Father, those who plan evil for others end up experiencing this same evil themselves, for their lives have become one big lie that due to every lie becomes harder to unwind. They are making a hangman's loop around their own neck Amen.




¹⁷  I will give to the LORD the thanks due to his righteousness and sing praise to the name of the LORD, the Most High.




(The Book of Psalms Number 7 verse 17) 



Oh God my Father, right now the evil spirits are shooting their arrows inside of me. I have an arrow in the nerve going from my neck to my shoulder and I have sticthes in my left hand. However even though it is as if I am being used as a dart board I give praise and worship to You my God and Father.

Oh God my beloved Father I would like to end this meditation on Psalm Number 7 with the following prayer:-
 


Oh God my Father, I pray that You make me an instrument of Your peace. An arrow that pierces skin, bone and spirit by which the Holy Word of God may be delivered both online and offline. I pray that You make me one of Your messengers Amen
